The unholy trinity (Ch.13)

When you look at the beast, you might be overwhelmed by the sheer violence of it. But a second look shows that what’s really driving it is deception.

The dragon and the two beasts form a counterfeit trinity: the dragon imitates God the Father, the first beast imitates Jesus, and the second beast imitates the Holy Spirit.
