Teens Prep — Before You Open Revelation
Revelation is the most quoted-out-of-context book in the Bible, and most of the confusion around it doesn’t come from the book being obscure. It comes from people opening it cold.
These 11 sessions are the run-up. They’re written for the same age group as the Teens track — ages 13 to 18 — and they cover everything Revelation assumes you already know and never stops to explain: the Roman world John’s first readers actually lived in, how apocalyptic writing works and why it isn’t a coded timeline, the promise God keeps making and Israel keeps breaking, and the Daniel visions that Revelation borrows from on nearly every page.

You don’t have to run this track first. The Teens track stands on its own, and a group that’s short on time can go straight into Revelation. But the payoff is much larger if you don’t. Almost every image that feels bizarre on a first read — the beast, the horns, the seventy weeks, the son of man on the clouds — is already sitting in these eleven sessions, introduced where it originally came from, so that by the time it turns up in Revelation it reads as a callback instead of a puzzle.
Each session works the same way as the Teens track: it grounds its teaching in the text itself, names a place where you’re already strong, names a real struggle worth growing in, and opens space for the questions actually worth talking about.
When you finish, session 11 hands straight over to the first Revelation session.
