The Story: You Are Safe Here

This is the whole story of Revelation, told gently. Nothing in it is left out - not the danger, not the loss, not the hard chapters - but nothing is lingered on either. We tell you enough to be honest, and then we move toward what this book actually wants you to feel: that you are seen, that you are held, and that the ending is good.

More than anything, this version rests in the part of the story that is easy to rush past: God wiping every tear, ending every night, healing every wound. That part gets the most room here, on purpose.

Production notes

This version is written for readers who are processing real trauma - refugees, survivors of abuse or violence, communities living with recent loss - for whom vivid depictions of war, assault, or plague are not abstract symbols but memory. If you are a facilitator or counselor reading this aloud with a group, please feel free to slow down, pause, or stop wherever the room needs it - and especially, do not rush the ending. Let the New Jerusalem breathe.
